Cah (car, in Briggese)

We went to see Cars 2 when it came out in theaters a couple of months ago. Brigham liked it, but not as much as his dad did. He got a car from Grandma Genny at the beginning of the summer, but he just recently started playing with it. It's one of the first things he asks for in the morning, and he plays with it all day long. He used to cry when he saw it (he was afraid of the roaring motor, or something). Now he cries when he has to put it down.
He was experimenting with all of the fun places to drive it last night. Here are a few.

Crafting with Jill

Whitney and I had a great girls night while the boys cleaned the church and played basketball. We ate some delicious Thai food, let the (little and big) boys play, and made our cute fall craft. It was really cheap and fun, too. Gotta love Pinterest, which gave us the craft idea.

Dinner time

Don't let the sad face fool you...he loved dinner tonight. Steak, beans, broccoli. He ate and ate and ate. (he was just ready to be all done by this point)

Park!

We've been having absolutely perfect weather the past few days. It is cool at night, warms up (but not too much) during the day. Brigham has enjoyed playing at the park a few times. Hopefully there are many more beautiful days on the way!

Blocks

Brigham is starting to talk a whole bunch (who cares if I'm the only one that can understand him? I'm with him all the time anyway and can therefore serve as a translator.) He has learned most of his colors and how to stack his blocks into a nice row or tower. I am truly amazed with how much he soaks up and learns each day.

Here's a funny little pose from our funny little man.

Harvest

We harvested some carrots and peppers last night. We counted our canteloupe and watermelon too.

Be prepared for many more melon pictures. ha!

Tulsa 2

As much as I hate posting pictures out of order, I hate even more the idea of having to cut and paste each one to be in chronilogical order. And since you don't know what we did first on our trip, I don't feel too bad.

Brigham learned that there are dogs that are bigger than ours. Lots bigger.

He found some more fountains to play in.

Tulsa has fun parks!

A trip isn't a trip without a cousin bath picture.

Some big praying hands.

Jensen and Briggs enjoying some ice cream.

Thanks Jan and Craig for such a fun trip. We can't wait until Thanksgiving!

Tulsa Trip

We spent Labor Day weekend in Tulsa with my sister Janalyn and her family. We had a a great time and are grateful that we now have family only a few hours away.

We went to the aquarium.

We took our little fish to the splash pad. He had fun playing with Noah, but Rockwell didn't bring his swimsuit (that's why he looks so bored next to Josh).

We took over a hundred pictures while we were there, so I've got some sorting to do. I will post more soon.

You like my canteloupes?

You'll love my watermelons!!
