I found out after I worked out this morning that our water wasn't working. What would you do if you had to be at work in 45 minutes, were sweaty and stinky, had matted sleep hair, morning breath and no running water? I went to our tornado shelter to retrieve my "shower". It was cold, too hard to do on my own, and made me really grateful for the modern convenience of running water that I normally enjoy.
Just your reminder to count your many blessings!

A fairytale
Once upon a time there was a pink bunny. He started out with a little bit of potential, but he didn't end up looking like an Easter bunny at all. He didn't have a very cute face anyway, but then he realized that he was going through lots of unexpected changes. He was riding in the car when he realized that his ugly star shaped fur was melting off. Then his heavy non-Easter-looking nose fell off, and his raisiny eyes and too-big whiskers weren't far behind. He didn't get to go into Easter Dinner like he expected. Instead, he was a post-Stake Conference snack and his remains stayed in the car.
The End.

Good Friday
Since we don't live in Utah, I got Good Friday off of school. Annie and I scheduled a craft day and we made us some aprons. I have officially made two things in two weeks. I'm starting to feel more like a Relief Society President with every finished project. ;)

With a little work...
Old shirts can be a new quilt!
This is the first quilt I've ever made. In fact, it's the first substanstial thing I've ever sewn (don't look too close, you can tell!). And I did it without even a little bit of help from my mom.
I can't decide if my next one should be my t-shirts or jeans. Any suggestions?
