At the beginning of October, we loaded up the car early one morning and made the trek down to Italy. We had a long drive to get to Venice - it was about 10 hours. Everyone was mostly cooperative and we had a good drive with some beautiful stops.
Benny and his GrandpaWe were a little slower in the restroom and were just hiking up to meet the rest of the boys.
Josh was trying to stay in PT test shape, not to mention staying sane from a long drive.
Maddie and the boys.
Josh jumped in front of my mom's picture. I thought it was funny so I took a picture of the picture being taken.
We drove through the Dolomites which are a section of the Italian Alps. It was sooooo pretty and well worth the extra time we had to drive to get there.
I'm not so good at selfies.
Benny was sleeping in the car, but we just had to stop when we saw the view from this pullout. It was gorgeous.
Brigham had his own camera for this trip. It was really darling watching him take pictures. It's even more fun looking at all the pictures that he took.
Beautiful, right?
When we arrived at our house in Dolo (near Venice) Brigham immediately got mosquito bites everywhere. We struggled with them (and more mosquitoes) for the rest of the trip.
