We had a branch Thanksgiving Dinner and Talent Show on Monday night. We had a great turnout, with so many faces that I had never even seen before. We had a fun night with our branch.
Josh was the MC for the evening, and only shared one Utah/BYU joke.
As we were compiling the list for the talents, we were short a few. There were so many people that signed up in church, not so many people who were brave enough to really get up and do them on the night of the show.
But the VonTrap Family Quartet started off the evening with a round of For Health and Strength.
A good time was had by all.

I have never taken any notice of the 'next blog' sign at the top of my page, but decided to click it and see what came up, and there you are...a charming all-American family...great house, cutest dogs, terrific friends, handsome hubby and lovely wife. One of my blog mates is a BYU fan, and has recently been blogging about 'the game'. As an old English biddy I know next to nothing about American football but it serves to make very interesting reading. Not least because of the passion each one of you has for 'your team'.
I enjoyed reading your posts.
As for the talent competition, it is my experience that it is not difficult to get the untalented to give their all...ouch, but the good ones are harder to persuade.
Joni you are about to say "For" or "Food" hahah very fun. They needed to be threatened to do a talent like at our Christmas parties of old. Then you would have gotten some great talents.
