We have had a little traveling circus in our village for the past few days. We went on an outing to check out Circus Montana yesterday.
On our way! (Our house is the third one you can see on the left. It is light blue and has the big windows at the top)
I successfully purchased tickets (there were three ticket options), used a coupon, and made sure that I didn't have to pay for Benson since he isn't two yet...in GERMAN! It was awesome!
Poor Benny took a header on our walk there. He now has a fat bottom lip, a fat top lip, and a mark from where his sunglasses hit his eye.
Pre-show pic!
Inside the tent, waiting with great anticipation!
I must admit that our expectations were a bit low, but we were so glad we went to see (and support) this cute circus family. We didn't quite figure out the dynamic of the family, since we didn't understand much of what was announced or listed on the website, but it was definitely a family operation. This man, Montana, was the ringmaster, but there were two women, one other man, and 5 or 6 darling little kids who also performed.
This girl was maybe 10.
At one point, he had 7 chairs and the littlest girl on top, all balanced on his chin like that.
Some of the acts included tight-rope walking, acrobatics, clowns (who made Brigham laugh even though he couldn't understand what was said in their acts), llamas running in a circle, horse and pony tricks, aerialist flying on curtains, hula hooping, and best of all fire-breathing. I will try to attach a video. We had such a fun time as we enjoyed the talents of this circus family. The cotton candy and kettle corn were delicious too!
